Mini Derpy Hooves Plushby ~LadyBelugaCrafts

Another Mini pony plush! This time its Derpy Hooves.

She's made of plush velour, and her mane and tail are made of super soft minky. She's about 6 and 1/2 inches tall from the top of her head to the bottom of her hooves.

I bought the velour she's made of for a commission, only to realize later that it was just too dark for Derpy. So I ordered some minky in the right color for the commission, and while I waited for it to arrive I worked on this little cutie. She really is more of a prototype that I used to figure out the mane and tail pattern, as well as the open wings. Now I'm all set for the actual commission, which I should be posting soonish!

I really loved working with the plush velour. Its easy to sew, doesn't shed as much as minky, and is super soft. Unfortunately, the color choices are so limited.

This was also my first time working with minky, which wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. It did make a mess though! Minky fibers everywhere!
